hey, i heard that the velociraptor is a 2.5" array that is shoved in a heat-reducing case thing so it fits in a 3.5" bay.

my question is
is there a chance this will fit my laptop 2.5" bay? i am just worried because they do that at the factory so if it DOES fit ill encounter unreal temps
what are your thoughts?
i am looking to speed up my G1s, the HDD is the bottleneck by far, have also been lookin at some OCZ SSD's

You cannot put this drive into a notebook. Period. Even if you did have 12V lines...
Notice that big HEATSINK?
Yeah, you'd toast the laptop. -
