will games run better on a WSXGA or a WUXGA considering most games dont have resolutions as high as a WUXGA???, or even WSXGA for that matter?

e.g. a game running in 960x600, will it look better on a WSXGA or WUXGA or would u not be able to notice a difference?

Well, I cant tell offhand what the native resolutions are for WSXGA and WUXGA, but I can tell you that they both run best at their native resolution. (Which are both quite high)

If you dont, the picture might get fuzzy or distorted. Ick

But as you know about games, the higher resolution you play them at, the harder it is for your video card to render it all. And since WUXGA is just an insanely high resolution, playing most recent games at the native resolution on a WUSGA laptop is prettymuch suicide for most laptops. (Even the really high end ones)

Plus i've been noting some people sending their WUXGA laptops back and geting a WSXGA one. They say the color definition and richness are much better on the WSXGA, and icons and text wont be so **** tiny on it.

The gaming capability of laptops today simply hasnt reached the ability to play games at the WUXGA native resolution comfortably.

Though that is true Meseria, you can change the resolution, things look best on the monitor's native resolution.

I'd say WSXGA for gaming since most games I know of only run at that at max.
