Been using SetFSB to overclock my Q9000 to 2.7ghz...had to reset the computer and the BIOS reads it as 2.7ghz! How does SetFSB make these changes outside of Windows? Im just impressed...dont have to worry about playing with SetFSB...set it and forget it...even after a cold reboot.

Your PLLs state isn't being reset on reboot. Means too can boot Windows, run setfsb, then boot into Linux or any other OS and have overclocked performance. -
So it does actually change stuff...could I delete SetFSB and still have the overclocked settings? Very cool stuff I must say!

After a cold boot all setfsb settings are gone.

Exactly, just shut your computer down completely, and then boot up again. The power to the pll never completely goes off during a restart.
Putting your computer to sleep should also do the trick.
WTH? SetFSB changes the BIOS?
