Hey whats up? I live in Toronto Canada and our Hydro now provides wireless internet for free (for now) called '1zone'.

My Laptop has a WLaN card and an empty WWaN slot.

    Is this considered an upgrade?
Would I pick up the signal of 1zone which I don't currently?
What's your OPINION on the two, looking for someone that has a wwan card.

OneZone is still kinda iffy, for me it works about 70% of the time.

    Whats your notebook?

Perhaps you are too far away from Dundas Street?

And for those who don't know, OneZone is the free wi-fi internet coverage being provided in downtown Toronto:

It's quite awesome, though its terribly unreliable at times. But yea, I use it quite often when my internet goes down(which is, quite often enough).

It should work fine with a regular WiFi card, perhaps you are too far away from Dundas Street?
