I just got a new dm3t last Monday (specs in sig.), and when I took a look at the SMART data from the hard drive, I was surprised to see some pretty crazy numbers.
The drive is a WD 3200BEKT-60V5T1.
Here's the screens for HD Tune Pro and DiskCheckup the day after receiving the laptop:

A week and an half later:

I'm talking specifically about load/unload cycles, BC (Command Timeout) numbers, G-sense error rate, UltraDMA CRC Error Count, and the start stop count.
    The values for them are 15894, 524322, 1211, 5, 2325, respectively.

After a week and an half, the G-sensor error rate went up by 1, and Load/unload cycle went up by ~1000. BC and UltraDMA CRC Error Count did not go up at all.

So is this something I should be worried about? Is it something serious enough to warrant an exchange?

    Any thoughts are appreciated.

Umm.. anyone? Really trying to decide whether or not to return/exchange this. Especially since hearing of the new Pavilion line launch on May 19.
