    Hi,
I'm looking to buy a new laptop. Windows 10 is out, but major laptop companies aren't yet releasing new laptops with Windows 10 preinstalled. Is there any marked advantage to waiting another month (or 3) for them to come factory-installed to avoid potential glitches and announces with doing the upgrade? Please speak from your actual experience.

    Thank you!

What? Windows 10 already comes pre-installed on pretty much every new major OEM laptop or desktop PC. Most people try to avoid it.

Oh, i see... A new MSI system I was looking at was still at Windows 8.
On that note, what do you think about buying a system with Windows 8 to save money and upgrading? Is the hassle worth the money I might save doing this?

So long as you are OK with the Privacy and automatic updates issues of Windows 10 then upgrading is usually a non-issue. Some have had better luck than others. the best idea is to find the threads pertaining to the new PC and see what others are generally experiencing.

Having upgraded two laptops of mine to Win 10, it is really painless. You shouldn't wait for it.

Auto update install can be disabled easily anyway.
