Are you offering to buy me one? If so, then I accept! Hehe. What I'd like is if they'd get even the 160GB perpendicular ones running at 7200RPM or so.

Yeah, I pretty much plan on only ever buying 7200RPM drives from now on.

I had a 4200 in my old laptop, and I was ok with it. So I figure the 5400 will be a step up from that, and when I get some more toy money, I'll get an external 2.5" enclosure and a new 160/200GB drive, stick the new drive into the laptop and put the old one in the enclosure for use as portable storage.

But that's after I get a widescreen LCD for my desktop, and take a trip to mars.

Even if the 4200 rpm drives have better seek/access times, and perform better :D ??

Be forewarned that the Fujitsu MHV2200BT is a 1/2" (12.5mm) high drive, so it won't fit into most notebooks. The Toshiba MK2035GSS is a 3/8" (9.5mm) high drive so it will fit.
