    Hi.
does Interchangeable 24X/24X/8X/24X DVD+CD-RW Combo module A.K.A DVD/CRDW Combo Drive mean that I can burn dvd's off & on to my laptop.
If not, then what will the harddrive be called in order to show that it can actually burn dvds.
    thanks for your help.
    jay.

You mean rip DVDs to your hard drive? Any DVD player can do that. So a DVD/CDRW combo can

Now if you want to burn data or movies onto DVDs, you would need a DVD-RW drive (which by default can read and write CDs)
