I have InsydeFlash Bios from Compaq and recently I updated my bios, but its giving some errors. I want to go back to the old one, but someone told me to backup the bios and I have no clue how to do this. Could someones help me please? thx

backup BIOS? I dont think you need to, or even can do this.
Just go to your manufacturers website, and download the BIOS Update, then install it.
Im not 100% sure about this, so you may want to wait for more replys.

Backing up the BIOS is not possible, nor do most laptops have any jumper cables or switches to reset the BIOS if an upgrade goes awry. I have switched to previous BIOS versions many times (due to technical issues with newest ones) using WinFlash packages, but obviously not for your specific model. In any case, you should be able to just download and install an older BIOS version in the same way that you would install a new one.
