    Hey!!!! am looking 4 a x9100 as my upgrade from a t9400........can ny1 suggest me places where i can find them at good rates????????

    not with a buy it now there is not.. and a es sample is fine. i almost only use them myself and i have never had a issue with any of them

    If I was you stone, I'd play it safe and go for a T9800 instead. You don't even know if your notebook can handle the extra power draw of the X9k, while the 9800 is sitting there at 2.93Ghz and it's only 35W.

    Since you can't even OC the X9100, why risk the damage?

    T9800 is same TDP as my T9400...dang the price is so high though for less half a GHz extra.

    Me? I can't sell it, I won't have a CPU in my laptop lol...

    I would sell it and buy the T9600 but its still too expensive.

    T9400 = 25W *EDIT: 35W ty Andy
    X9100 = 44W

    That is way too much heat difference inside a laptop to risk it. I've decided not to get it. It's likely to fail within a few months.

    That's what I meant >.< P series = 25W and T = 35.
