Hey, my MacBook has recently been acting strange, and I found the ram I added to be bad (via Rember a Mac ram test client).
Now I've never dealt with hardware warranties before and was wondering how I go about it. Would I deal with the reseller, Newegg; or directly to the manufacture, Patriot?
And can anyone who's gone through this comment on the process, was it quick and easy or did you have to deal with multiple support reps... trying to get a good idea of what to expect.
Thanks all.

I suggest you contact Newegg and tell them that they sent you defective RAM. See if you can get an RMA for an exchange.

I forgot to mention that the memory was purchased back in August, so I'm not sure if Newegg will still let me exchange it. I will give it a shot anyhow!

Yup always good to try. It is free and Newegg is not a monster that is going to eat you.
If Newegg says no or something to that extent, try to email Patriot and see what happens there.
