Hi guys! I'm new here. I'm now searching a way to build a water cooling system on my Asus U46SV notebook and i was wondering of there is a way to use the current copper pipes that are used for air cooling? I found that the pipes are hollow inside so i can connect the two ends. After that i can add the pump and other stuff outside. Someone can find this question dumb, dk, but im just asking if it can be done

They are wicked inside which could cause a lot of material to end up in the water and cause issues in the pump. Be aware unless you intend to increase the heatsink area with a larger radiator than the existing heatsink there is no advantage to water cooling.
