    i got a 2600 dollar xtreme notebooks laptop with abuilt in Bisoncam webcam. It use to work fine but lately everytime i log on yahoo messenger and try to chat with my girl whose in cali, and im currently in iraq, it turns yahoo off on me. i downloaded a new messanger but it still shuts off on me within 2 seconds. i can view her with no problems if she has her cam on, but once i turn mine off, yahoo sign's me out... any ideas on what is wrong and what to do?

    Did you try the webcam with other programs? Are you sure it's the webcam, maybe it's the army closing their connection on this kind of thing? Maybe it's yahoo messenger?

    Try it with another program first. If it works, then obviously it's something else, like yahoo messenger.
