Well I was helping a web designer clean her notebook keyboard. She starts using compressed air and all of a sudden liquid spews out and freezes on and in the keyboard. My question is what to do? Batter/ plug all out but was on when she did it >.<. Thanks
I believe it is a spill proof keyboard after popping up a key and checking

Please dont use compressed air cans to clean computers, use an electric air compressor. The propellant in the co2 cans is hazardous to computers, since it is a cyclohexane based air propellant. Make sure the system is off.
You can try cleanin the keyboard with rubbing alcohol to remove the propellant.
If it does not come off, you are going to have to buy a new keyboard for her.
Good luck man, I hope it did not destroy anything

Thanks K-Tron. I had brought my electric on -.- she insisted on using presurized air seeing as the guy at the local Walmart type store said its the best and only way -.- I let the customer do what she wanted... Wasn't sure how to deal with it since I have never used it meaning I have never seen a spill.. Keyboard works

The cheapskate way is to flip your keyboard upside down and shake it a little. Watch all the crap come out. You can even blow into it if you like.
As for notebook keyboards, i would take out the keyboard assembly out of the notebook and clean from there. -
Using canned-air is fine, just don't spray it with the can upside down or you'll start freezing stuff (however, I have been able to amuse myself for quite a long time with a can of compressed air and various foodstuffs).
The liquid evaporates (or actually boils) out very fast, so it shouldn't damage anything as long as you let it sit for a minute.
