    Weird HDD shutdown noise

    I just received a DV7T-6100 quad core (like it alot so far), but I do have 1 issue with it.

    The HDD makes a weird noise when shutting down. I made a audio recording of it, but its little hard to hear so you might have to turn up your speakers. It starts at around 12 seconds in the clip.

    It is a Hitachi 5k750......

    I would run HP's Diagnostics software on your drive to ensure it is healthy. Never heard a sound like that on a hard drive before..
