My battery would be 100% charged... but after I disconnect the power, it stays at 100% for 5 minutes or so, and then jumps down to 94% in one shot. Then it stabilizes.

Anyone have any idea what might be causing this or how to fix it?

could be that your battery, over time, is now only capable of holding 94% is it's nominal/rated charge.

that tool are you using to 'measure' your battery capacity and how old is the battery?

Battery is abt....a week old. I have yet to discharge it fully, I just realized that. Maybe I should do that...

Batterybar. But Windows itself also shows the quick jump from 100% to 94% after abt 5min.
