As many of you know, I recently purchased the Samsung 226BW. It is weird, when watching in game videos, such as what you would see in the new C&C or CoH, the black areas look really weird. They get like green in them and dark purple and they just don't look right at all. The interesting thing is a took a screenshot to see what it would look like if I just looked at the image outside of the game and they look fine. Has anyone seen something like this before. I could try to take a picture with a camera. Should I try a VGA connection instead of DVI?

Definitely strange, have you tried installing different video drivers??

By the way in your rated CPU thread the T7200 is rated at 4.96, it's actually 4.99 ;)

I haven't, I have the most up to date video drivers, maybe I should revert to an older one??? I am pretty sure it has nothing to do with it being a TN 6 bit panel (hopefully), just want to get it fixed because it is pretty annoying. It is the only problem I have with this monitor.

I will get that CPU rating fixed as well! ;)

Do those artifacts happen when on other displays? Or on the laptop itself? Yes, you should try DVI if possible.

If it does not happen outside the game, to me it seems as if the problem is within the games, and not in the hardware or drivers.

Have you updated the game? Were there any patches released?

Just to clarify, it is on my desktop external monitor, and I am using DVI right now. It only seems to happen in Company of Heroes, but it happens in FEAR as well, and only when playing the game. I do have the most up to date versions too. When I am not gaming, colors look fine. Thanks for the input so far, any more thoughts?
