FIRST: Sorry if i've posted this in the wrong place.

Okay so my laptop has been making a weird squeaky sound. It mostly comes out from around the touchpad, i THINK it's coming out from the audio jacks (mic/headphones) which is right infront of the touchpad. And nothing comes out from the speakers, which are located at the bottom of the screen. I have recorded the sound and uploaded it here if you wana know what i'm talking about.

How can i stop it? What causes it?

I'm using HP Pavilion dv6345us with Windows Vista.

Yea easy to fix (if mic), I guess I missed post. In system tray (icons bottom right) double click the speaker icon. Your now at volume control. Click options then properties on drop down. Click on Recording (make sure box is checked below for showing mic), click OK. Now un-select mic, remove check from box and just to make sure slide the volume bar all the the way down.
