Yay I am almost out of space and just bought a 2 port USB 30 PCI-E card.
But HDD's are finally getting cheap you can get 2TB drives for $100 on a good deal. It will be a major shame if they jack up the price substantially just due to the new tech. These 3TB drives should cost $200 and that seems fair, but I bet they will be more like $300.00 -
Sorry, I meant to say that I hope to see how these new WD Green drives compare to the last generation. But my recent experiences w/ WD Green drives have been positive thus far.

3TB on a single disk is insane though. Imagine what people would have thought of that ten or even five years ago. -

I have two Ineo dual-bay RAID-capable USB 3.0 enclosures each mounting two WD20EARS HDDs, and each setup was about $300, give or take.
