I've recently decided to buy a laptop. In some shops i saw Intel T8600 CPU? What is it? I know Intel P8600, but T??? Maybe someone knows the information about it? Or it can be a mistake?

I've seen many typos in shops and on sites. E.g. T7350 = P7350; T9500 = 2.53GHz, 6MB, 1066MHz; etc etc
There is no T8600, only P8600.... -
BUT people know nothing about Intel T8600. Maybe you can show me it's specs? -
There is no T8600......

Andy, thanks. I've also visited that site already and couldn't find it. That's swhy i wanted to see your answers.

The Penryn-3M Refresh Series didn't come out in its T-avatar. Only P8400/P8600/P7350 were released (and the upcoming P8700).

Andy, i know. I told the same to seller. But they did not know this =)

who the hell told you that there is no T8600???
it may not be in the Intel website but it exists...
T8600 = 2.4Ghz (1066Mhz FSB)
google for it! I saw a Dell Latitude E5500 with this processor. -

Well either way if its T or P ( though i doubt its a T ) it should be a fast cpu and would have to be at least 2.4ghz 3mb l3 cache and a 1066mhz FSB.

This is the first time that I knew that there was a difference between power usage on the P and T models, thank you for clearing that up for me..
What CPU is it?
