i have just tried playing battlefield 2 on it and it takes ages to load up a game and then lags what can i do to make it play better?

Turn down some of the settings?

1. Delete bloatware or reformat, just remember to save drivers (SWSetup) and make restore discs.
2. Upgrade to 2 GB of RAM, you can find it cheap at newegg.com or here.
Otherwise, the 8600m GT can easily handle Battlefield 2 at very respectable settings. -
BF2 always takes a reeeeeally long time to load up. Don't worry about loading times; it's normal. But lag shouldn't be happening. Good luck with formatting.

Romanian, from what you said in another thread I suspect more RAM is needed. 1GB just not enough?
What Can I Do?
