Hey guys,
I am thinking about buying a broken Voodoo M855
It has a AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor,
1Gb of memory, 60gb 7200rpm drive, 15" screen, and a Ati 9600 graphics card.
It is a desktop replacement.
The motherboard/lcd are broken, and need to be replaced.
Voodoo is charging my friend Jaime $2500 for it to be fixed.
Jaime, said hell no and bought a new laptop.
Jaime emailed me this morning asking if I was interested in his broken M855.
He told me it would be mine, if I paid the $235 for the 1 hour of work (for diagnosis), and shipping from Canada to my address.
If I can find out what Clevo model it is, I can see how expensive parts for the system would be to replace.
I know they are no where near $2500.
Here are some pics, hopefully you can help me figure out what Clevo it is:

Thanks alot guys, the Mitac 8355 is indeed the same system.
Now I just need to find out how much I can get a replacement motherboard/lcd for?
And then I can determine whether or not its worth buying and fixing it.

i believe it is an oem laptop and by the looks of it my lcd monitor will fit in nicely
What Clevo is this Voodoo M855?
