It's for the one in my sig. The owner's manual says
"The notebook PC comes with a removable 2.5 (6.35cm) wide and .374 (95cm) high Ultra ATA/100/66 IDE hard disk drive with current capacities up to 100gb."
My questions are:
1. Will any hdd work in my computer as long as it says that it's a 2.5 inch UltraATA, or will I have to confirm other dimensions?
2. Can I use any other types besides UltraATA?

Any conventional ata5/6 notebook drive will work in your laptop up to 100gb. Just be sure that it is ata-5 or 6 and not SATA (as the pinout is different).........

Really, there are 2 types of hdd interfaces, SATA and U-ATA (which is also know as IDE, ATA-6, ATA-100, PATA, all the same thing), So as long as you get a 2.5'' hdd that is not SATA you'll be fine.

Actually, any 2.5" ATA-6/IDE/PATA Drive up to 250GB(current maximum size).
What HDD drives will fit into this computer?
