Score myself a somewhat cheap T9300 off EBay for $252 USD, and if I don’t manage to wreck anything putting it all together, it could be a good upgrade, especially with the $100+ I get back for the T7500.
I found out when I went up the road to get the thermal paste from this man at the computer store, that he would of replace it for $35, the only thing I’ve learnt from this is, that I should of asked the man how much before I started and that laptop are very fragile.
I didn’t upgrade because of a CPU performance factor (because the T7500 was powerful enough for what I use it for) rather I’m hoping the thermal properties of T9300 will extend the life span of my GPU (keeping it a bit cooler would help performance as well) along with the power saving associated with such an upgrade, I hardly ever us the battery so that don't matter/

WTH did you just say?

^ I am just as lost as Lithus; did you create this thread for any other reason than to complain about getting ripped off over thermal compound?

What I learnt wasn't worth $35!
