    What Vaio applications can i uninstall?

    Hi,i have a sony Vaio VGN-NR10E and wondered which of the Vaio programs it is safe to uninstall, these are the ones on here (they all start with VAIO):
    content folder setting
    content importer/VAIO content exporter
    content metadata intelligent analysing manager
    content metadata manager setting
    control center
    data restore tool
    entertainment platform
    event service
    launcher
    media 6.0
    media AC3 decoder 1.0
    media content collection 6.0
    media integration server 6.1
    media redistribution 6.0
    media registration tool 6.0
    musicBox
    musicBox sample music
    original function setting
    power management
    smart network
    update 4

    i don't want to delete anything that would cause problems cos i have enough of them being an computing student,but i'm really not sure out of these what i am safe deleting the laptop crashes enough as it is!! Any help much appreciated!

    I know it shouldn't really be in hardware but not sure where it should go, sorry!

    You dont need any of that software. It is all crap sony software which is preinstalled on your system.
    If your system is crashing continually you should try reinstalling the operating system, and checking the S.M.A.R.T. diagnostics on the harddrive.
    Download hdtune and go into the health tab. If anything is highlighted in red or yellow I suggest replacing the harddrive. You should also run a CHECKDISK scan to make sure that the disc does not have any bad sectors.
