    I want to upgrade my laptop so that I can boot my OS off of a SSD while still keeping my HDD but I don't know what type of connection ports my laptop has.

    Can anyone tell me what connection type these two are?

    What laptop is this?

    They look like ATAPI interfaces for optical drives
    They could also be IDE/PATA ports for harddrives
