    Hi there,

my experience is that laptops with Alps touchpads have a noticable lag in response. I made 2 simple videos:

Alps touchpad on Lenovo ThinkPad X300 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipxBlBb542M
Synaptics touchpad on FSC Amilo Pro V3205 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdmaawZPBbI

Slow response on Alps touchpad is very significant in this case. I have tested about 50 laptops since last year and maybe 10 have Alps - each with Alps have this problem.

What is your experience with Alps touchpads? There are only few discussions about this problem on the internet. I want to know if it a global problem or I had luck to bad ones.

*) Sorry for my bad english
**) Google-translated article on my blog - http://translate.google.com/transla...na-touchpadech-alps&hl=cs&ie=UTF8&sl=cs&tl=en - (Czech is very difficult language for machine translation)

    Mine works fine... no lag.
