Hey everyone, these look like pretty good specs. What do you all think. Should I give it a shot. Any reason why it would be a bad monitor?

I've heard those are pretty nice LCDs, better than the LCD TVs anyways.

Unless you are sure you want that, I'd also check out Viewsonic, NEC and ASUS LCD panels. But the price point for that LCD with the specs are quite nice.

Yea, right now I have the Gateway FPD2485W, which is nice for the most part, but I still get a little ghosting in games and depending on the display settings, sometimes the color gradients are very apparent. I may be checking out some other monitors and returning this one to Best Buy.

Coriolis, do you have any particular recommendations for monitors in the brands you listed? Mainly, I want at least 1680 x 1050 resolution and at least 6ms response time.

I may be check that monitor out if I can find it available locally, there is also an LG being released at the same time that is like its twin brother. Same specs and everything.
