    I know this:

    It does not come with

    CPU
    Drive
    Memory

    Question:

Is the motherboard included with notebook barebone purchases?

Are video and sound cards included?

    EDIT: I am sorry.

Is the power supply part of the motherboard in notebooks? I am looking at MSI, Clevo and ASUS notebook barebones.

    For laptops?

If so, laptop barebones usually have everything but the CPU, RAM, Hard Drive, Optical Drive(depends on model, some have it built in, others have it modular), Wireless Card and thats usually it. Everything else is included. Graphics card is included but there are rare instances(ASUS C90 for example) where there are multiple video cards available so the base does not include it.

The motherboard is included in the barebone. The heatsinks are also included. Just the harddrives, optical drives, processor and memory are missing. And in some cases, the video card is not included, but most of the time it is.

You do need to read the documentation to see what comes with it. It is usually readily available as with out very hard to tell if good deal or not, avsdirect.com sells barebones and will build up for you.

I am thinking about launching a site similar to avadirect.com. Initially I want to start selling notebooks only (MSI, compal, and Asus) aimed at gamers and business professionals. Would you by any chance have advice on I am can become a reseller? Do I purchase the products form the authorized distributors?
