It seems every notebook suffers from keyboard flex. I read reviews about every company and all have complaints of keyboard flex. I decided to look at the only laptop I own. It is an ancient Dell Inspiron 7500. I pressed on the keys as hard as I could and no flex at all. I bet I could jump up and down on it and not produce any flex. Did older laptops have stronger keyboards? At least a stronger keyboard would explain its 8.5 lb weight because it is only a 15.4" laptop.

I dont mind the keyboard on my S96J, it really doesnt flex much unless you push down pretty hard on it. So im not complaining, then again, i've never used a thinkpad keyboard.

no compaints on my sz1.

My HP dv8408us has a wonderful keyboard. I actually prefer it to my wireless logitech keyboard that I used to use with my desktop. There is basicly no flex at all.

my KN1 has a pretty good keybord...no flex at all (as far as can tell)
What happened to Notebook keyboards?
