What is currently the largest laptop hard drive?
Is it 750gb? or more?
And what price do they sell at?
Thanks.

There's a 1tb 5200rpm Western Digital but they aren't quite to market yet. They should be here really soon though. They're already selling the pocket external drive based on this drive but it doesn't have the right controller board on it, so you can't just pop it out of the enclosure and put it in your notebook. Currently I think you can find some 750, but I know mainstream right now is the 5200rpm 640gb Western Digital Blue.

Yeah, you can get the 750gb right now, but it's 12.5mm thick instead of the standard 8.5 or whatever it is, so you need an oversized drive bay.

9.5 mm is the correct size of most laptop drive spaces.

The largest 9.5mm drive is the Western Digital 640GB I think.
