I have a HP pavilion zv6000 with 2 x 512 Mb RAM memory and I want to replace only one of the 512Mb RAM modules with a new 1 or 2 Gb module. I am not sure what type is my RAM and what types would work for me.

Could any 1 help me determining the type, model etc.? ( I don't know which to buy) Is it a DIMM or SO-Dimm? DDR1 SDRAM? what else should I know? :)

Your rams are PC2700 from the photo. You need to look for those.

You could check by going to www.crucial.com and let it scan your pc and it will tell you the exact ram you have and need.

PC2700 is a specific type of DDR ram, it's 166mhz double data rate (333mhz effective).
