What is the highest temperature that a T7500 Core2 Duo can be run over extended periods of time without stressing the system?

Its thermal specification is 100*C, and I guess the BIOS may shutdown the system at >95*C....So if you are running CPU-intensive tasks quite often - you should be fine under 80*C..!!

I agree w/angad under 80 should be safe but think 80 sounds hot for an Intel that is more like what my AMD runs at. Even though 80 would safe less heat prolongs life. I would make sure all is working well, fans, vents not blocked no dust in notebook wipe heat sink consider thermal compound. If this offers no improvement and still running hot well design issue undervolting could be considered.

Without knowing things like ambient temp I am making a lot guesses so take with some reservation. What is your idle temp?

My idle temp is 35C. When I run the CPU at 100% for an extened period the temp reaches 67C. Based on the previous posts I assume I can run it at 67C without a problem.

yes you can run it at 67C for extended periods of time, but it may not be too good for the system, being that 67C is pretty hot.
Have you tried undervolting, that could help bring the peak temps to around 60C.
