I just bought HP Pavilion dv9500t with 1GB memory. Does anyone know what the OEM RAM is in this notebook? I'm considering buying Kingston KTH-ZD8000B/2G, but not sure if it is the best choice. I would like to at least compare OEM to Kingston.

    Thanks

All notebook memory is basically the same. In fact, most memory is made by the same company and then rebranded. Kingston is a good brand and will serve you well.

As said above but made by like 4 company's and branded. Tools like CPUID or SiSoft might tell you who made it but it does not matter.
