    As title says , or i7 920 with i7 2920.

    They are new generation does that means they are faster?

    It is a lot faster. The 2920 can get to 3.2Ghz on 4 cores. The 920 only does 2.26Ghz. The 2920 is also a bit faster for the same clockspeed, has integrated graphics, and has lower power consumption.
