ReadyBoost is only really meant for computers that have ridiculously low amounts of RAM and cannot be upgraded further. On your system, it will be a waste of money!

you'll get a slight increased performance in some application , I know that cause i've installed the San-disk Extreme III(the fastest to my knowledge) in my inspiron 9400.
but just fyi - in most cases as in my case - the SD card reader is a bottleneck and lowers the actual performance , so you might be better with a slightly slower card and saving some $$

When you mean increase, do you mean application loading time? Plus what size card do you use Nir?

2gb+ of ram and readyboost will not improve your performance , if not decrease it , best option is to turn off your paging file and get more ram :p Although some wouldnt reccomend that , i find it a easy way to speed up boot times.
