    I would look for one of the drives which has put the 160GB onto one platter since this gives the same performance as the 320GB HDDs.

    Samsung HM160HI (SATA) or Samsung HM160HC (PATA) have this configuration. Lower capacity versions of some of the other brands 320GB HDDs probably do the same (eg Hitachi 5k320, 7k320). Check the specs and look at the data transfer rates.
