    Hey whats up? I opened my Dell d620 today and found this empty space in the top left hand corner. What goes here?

    Probably some option you didn't opt for. Maybe the internal WWAN card if you wanted to connect to Verizon etc.

    I reallly cant see the connector, but if there's 100 pins or so, itll be mini PCI. That white thing could be to supply extra power to the card maybe. The white connector may also be a SATA data interface.

    you could always download the service manual for the laptop from Dell.

    my guess is that spot might be for a bluetooth card, if you did not get one already...

    it's FUN to root around in your laptop... :D
