On the picture below I have highlighted an area on my Clevo 170em motherboard. I was guessing it was a mini PCI, so I tried installing an old intel turbo memory 1Gb card I had from an old laptop. But it doesn't show up in the device manager. I know it's not a slot for wireless.
I was thinking that maybe the bios doesn't support the card or something idk, can you guys clear things up for me?

    -thanks, the newb.

What year is your MB? What platform (Arrandale/SNB/IB) are you running? What BIOS version are you on? What cpu do you have? How much memory is installed?

More details would help us help you.

Intel Turbo Memory is a very old (useless) technology that was supported by only a very few systems and even fewer systems shipped with it. I would be inclined to drop investigating this path - even if you got ITM working - it will be a waste of time in the end (with a slower/buggier system as a reward too).

    Good luck.
