    My favorite machine doesn't exists.

    If I had to give an example, I think the Compaq M300 was the best machine ever. Many battery options for 3-10 hours, composite chassis and outer shell for durability and lightweight, twin multi-bays (hd was in the notebook, not the MEU) with just about everything at the time you can use (DVD/Burner/DSL router/floppy/HDD/battery/LS120/Zip100/Zip250/Couple other things I've since forgotten). The MEU design is the real winner here.. (The multibays and stereo speakers w/base channel, etc attached on the bottom, taking a very thin machine into a desktop replacement)

    I'd love for an updated version of this system, where there is integrated video in the notebook, but when you plug it into the MEU it's got a nice gaming card + all the features of the older MEU updated for a modern system.

    my macbook pro is pretty good, but not my fav.

    until a pc laptop comes out with macbook pro styling, dual graphics cards, 200GB hard drive, extreme processor, nothing will be my favorite.
