I'm trying to upgrade the ram of my new Toshiba E55-A5114 laptop.
Currently, I have 6gb of ram, which is the default amount it comes with. When I checked Crutial.com's System Scanner, it said I could upgrade to as much as 16gb, but their memory seems a little expensive.
When I checked on Amazon, there's way too many 16gb kits for laptops and I'm really not sure which ones would be compatible with my laptop model.
Can someone take a look at Amazon's available 16gb ram kits, and tell me which ones are the best choices and be comatible with my Toshiba E55-A5114?
Although I know how to upgrade ram, I just switched from my MacBook pro over to this one. It's been a long time since I've used Windows PCs and could just use a little input so I order the correct ram for this particular model.
Thanks a whole lot! I appreciate any information you can provide me!

Anything DDR3L-1600 (voltage MUST be 1.35V!) will do fine. You could try DDR3L-1866 if you want to squeeze out every bit of performance out of the iGPU and if you find such modules at prices similar to DDR3L-1600 (but it's rather unlikely).

Thank you for your prompt reply, I appreciate it!
For anyone else viewing this post, there was an error with one of my links. Here's all of crucial's ram they say is compatible with my e55: Crucial USA - scanner listing
