Hi, I just bought a refurbished Compaq Presario z6000v (Turion 64 2.0 ghz MK-36). It only comes with 512mb of RAM so I am going to upgrade to 2gb. What kind of RAM should I get? Can I buy any 667mhz So-Dimm RAM and slap it into the laptop?

Here is a link to the computer I got: http://www.ubid.com/Actn/Cls/getArchPage.asp?AuctionID=11050519

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Go to

    http://www.crucial.com/

Enter your model and it should tell you what kind of RAM you need. I took a look and it looks like you need DDR2 PC2-5300
