    What laptop is this?

    The 2006 MDG Aptonbook is a Compal HEL80 but I can't figure out what this is. The hinge looks very familiar to the Asus W3J and the large battery lifting the laptop up at the back reminds me of something else I can't place my finger on.

    What company made this laptop and where else I can buy it? It looks a ton better than the Compal imo.

    Ok well the large notebook they have with the keypad is made by benq

    I believe that model is also made by benq but i couldnt find a picture of it.

    mdg lists these notebook manufacturers though

    compal, samsung, benq, lg

    It can be a mdg only model made by one of these companies.

    You notice its a 17 inch also right?

    So no one knows specifcally what brand or model this is? I went to the Benq and MSI sites and went through all their laptops and I can't find anything like this with the rounded hinge/battery.

    Also it looks like a 15.4", I think the aptonbook line is always 15.4" like the el80? The 17" is the DTR (Desktop Replacement model).
