I'm looking to buy a miniPCIe TV tuner on ebay, what would be the best one to get?
Is this worth getting:

Or is this one better:

BTW, I live in Australia if that makes a difference.

Wow i purchased the exact same one from the exact same seller, arrived in a nice small box, comes from Hong Kong and it arrived in a week and a half, fitted it right in my T61p's free slot and routed the antenna under the keyboard and out the card reader slot, nicely integrated. It works good for reception, buti don't know what TV broadcasting standard Australia mostly uses, you have to find that out and base your decision on what standards the tuner supports, otherwise, this is a great buy man. It fit perfectly in my notebook and everything you need to get it set up is included. The antenna just plugs into a 1 pin connection on the card, much like your wireless card antenna's are connected, then you just route it whichever way you want.

Did you get digital channels and digital radio also, or was the radio just FM?
EDIT: Also it looks like the ASUS one I linked to supports HDTV, not sure if the other one does. -
Wow, that is cool. I wish my laptop had an extra mini pci-e.

Yeah unfortunately the A301 was too old to support ATSC which will be the new standard for Canada, being ratified in 2011 sometime. I can get some channels fairly clear but i haven't figured out how to access the FM radio from the software that came with it.
