I have an ancient Packard Bell iMedia 1901 (no laughing at the back!) who's power supply will die any day now, so I want to replace it.
The only problem is, I have absolutely NO idea which power supply to buy that will actually fit it?![]()
This link should help anyone who isn't me: http://support.packardbell.com/uk/item/index.php?i=spec_paros&ppn=PB13103701
That's my computer and motherboard ^^^
If it helps the hardf drive it has isn't a SATA, it's the one before SATA came out. Standard IDE hard drive maybe?
So, if anyone is able to tell me what type of power supply I need for that, I would be very very grateful!![]()
Thanks!![]()

This belongs in Desktop review, but to answer your question, you will need a ATX power supply, 20 or 24 pin is fine, with a 4 pin auxillary connection.
I would say a 400watt psu is fine.
Here is a good cheap power supply:

I think that it may be an ATX connector, but the picture of the MB is small so I can't be sure. There is a link on the packard bell website here: http://support.packardbell.com/uk/configurator/?acquire=access
You were right, this computer will need either IDE drives, or a SATA controller card. -
