Hy everybody,
I want to buy a laptop and use it mainly for CAD/CAE/CFD preprocessing and postprocessing (without solver) and for creating 3d Max models.
I have to choose between two proccesors:
T5800 with Ati 3650 videocard
P7350 with 4500MHD videocard
Both laptops will be ACER and in the same amount of money.
What do you recomend me to choose: go for the newer processor with integrated video or for the oldest one with ATi Videocard?
Thanks

t5800 w/ 3650 obviously! you can always upgrade the CPU later if needed

Both laptops are quite weak for the stuff u want. You should try to get at least a dell studio xps 16. But if ur only gonna choose from these 2 , get the one with T5800 and ATI HD 3650. Much better graphics. You can upgrade the processor ur self.

I agree with Sean, try to find something better.
And if I had to choose I agree with Njoy: t5800 w/ 3650. -
Thanks for the answers,
The laptop i want to buy is to be used as a secondary computer on wich to present at school/work/conferences the work i do on my home computer, wich is a intel Q9550 with 8gigs of ram and a nvidia GTX video card and runs flawlessly the aplications i need.
I do not plan to spend a lot of money on a secondary computer, but i said that, if it is possible to buy tha maximum performance with the minimum ammount of money.
Reading various reviews i arrived to the conclusion that, altought ACER is a cheap brand, their products are quite good.
The laptop that i want to buy is no more than 500EURO and have 3gb of ram that can be upgraded to 4, 250gb hard drive, the T5800 proc and the ati 3650 with 512MB Ram. Also it has a bluetooth, Wi-Fi, webcam, eSata and HDMI ports, and for that amount of money i think i cannot buy a better secondary laptop.
The other model, that has the P7350 proc has 2 gigs of ram , a bigger hard drive, 320G, and the 4500MHD videocard and the other options from the first.
I think i will stick with the T5800&Ati 3650 config.
Thanks again for the answers!
