    i bought this on ebay

    and i wanted to upgrade the ram but i dont know how much ram it would be able to take, or what kind, does anyone have any advice? I cant seem to find anything through google

    The specifications here indicate a maximum of 4GB. The RAM is DDR2 and will be SODIMM (smaller modules that are used in notebooks). The specifications also state that the RAM is 533MHz which is slow by current standards and specific 533MHz RAM may be more expensive.

    However, most 800MHz modules will run at 533MHz. See the attached for one example.

    get DDR2-800 RAM modules... cheapest for now and they should automatically downclock to run at whatever speed ur RAM should run at...
