Note that it does not physically fit a mini PCIe slot due to the extra blank bits of PCB to the sides of the contacts, but the key notch is in the same spot and it looks like the contacts would match up.
While it has the Intel logo on it, it's not their Turbo Memory which came in 1, 2 and 4 GB sizes and does physically fit a mini PCIe socket.
I came up empty handed searching for everything printed on it. Have yet to find a datasheet for the Intel 29F32G16NCNC1 chips on it.

DuckDuckGo is your friend - I was able to find this thread on Ars' forum about this chip, and it turns out that it is Turbo Memory from Intel. However, it's a part specifically for certain Lenovo laptops, since it uses a non-standard connector. So it wouldn't be very useful to very many people. Probably part of the reason it's cheap.

Well if I ever get a Lenovo laptop, I'll look for a slot that this fits.

Turbo Cache memory cards of that size are not even worth the free shipping that is offered on them.
And the notebooks that used that ancient tech are likewise ancient too. But nothing that a real SSD wouldn't fix.
What the heck is this 16GB thing?
