I have an Acer 7520-5311 , do I have to get 200 or 204 pin, also what speed? DDR2 667/800 ? PC2 5300/6400? I've searched everywhere cannot find information on this specific Acer Aspire model laptop.

200 pin, if you got PC2-6400 then it would downclock to 5300 anyway
-
So I could buy 200 pin, pc2-5300 ?

While reading reviews it says its not compatible with the 7520 model of Acer's Laptops.

Pros: G. Skill makes excellent high performance memory.
Lifetime Warranty.
Cons: Not compatible with Acer 7520 laptops.
Other Thoughts: My Newegg Acer laptop's stock 2 x1Gb sticks were not labled, and Acer support didn't know their timings!... Took a stab in the dark and missed.
I'm very thankful for Newegg's excellent RMA service!
Yet, the next review says
Pros: This memory works great, makes Vista run easy on my laptop. If you don't want to downgrade to XP on your laptop because of performance, then this is the ticket for you.
Cons: I can't find my confounded glasses, or the blasted computer.
Other Thoughts: Acer Aspire 7520

Your system has a maximum memory support of 4GB (2x2GB) PC5300/PC6400 memory.
I cannot see why it would not work.
I would stick with the Crucial memory though. I have never had problems with them

I just ordered the Crucial 4 gig 2x2... You think I will see an improvement in windows vista 32 bit over 2 gigs? I have a dual moniter setup and do alot of multitasking which gets very slowwwwwwwww
What type of ram to get? 200pin/204pin?
