I just got a new laptop turned it on and it said "invalid system disk Replace the disk, and then press any key".... I'm thinking when I customised the comp I didnt select an operating system, but I thought I did... so just making sure that this could be a cause before I go out any purchase one.
Thanks oh and sorry if this isnt the right spot for this kind of question.

Try opening the tray to see if there is a cd in there (a small hole for a paper clip will do if you can't get the button to work. If that is not the case, did your laptop come with any CD's? specifically ones marked with a manufacturers name (IE Sager, Dell, IBM.) Check your email to ensure you did or did not buy a OS before you spend an extra $100+. If There are no included cd's and the email says nothing, call or email the company to see if you should have gotten one. If the email says specifically that there is no OS included (like "Operating system: None Selected") then go buy one.
Cheers and Good Luck -
There is a CD with Sager on it for drives + manual... I put that in and pressed enter but the same error message appeared. I'll contact the company and see whats wrong.
What would cause this error
